Welcome
I am thrilled you are here and considering me as your therapist. I am a licensed psychotherapist and registered art therapist with over 10 years of experience working with adults, teens, and children.
No matter what life stage you are currently in or what brought you here today, I believe you have the power to change your story. Daily life can be overwhelming- especially with the current political, academic and social pressures so many of us experience. My aim is to provide a safe place for my clients to learn about themselves and grow despite the pressures around them. My hope is that my clients learn to feel confident, empowered, equipped, and successful in the midst of any challenge they face.
What to expect:
I work from an attachment-based and person-centered lens where I take time to learn your history, so I can better understand how you relate to the world and connect with others. We will work together to identify current patterns and how to change unhelpful behaviors into ones that better fit your lifestyle and values. You can be in charge of our own story if you understand it, making changes as necessary.
Additionally, as a registered art therapist I often use creative processes in my work with clients of all ages. We can use art to explore your story, process areas of trauma, or use it as a cathartic experience. No art background is required.
Who:
I work with adults, teens, and children.
With all of my clients, my aim is to provide a safe place for you to learn about yourself and grow despite the pressures around you. You may be experiencing heightened emotions, life transitions, or feel like daily life is a struggle.
With my adult clients, I focus on attachment patterns and how they affect you day to day. Together, we will identify unhelpful patterns and ways of thinking and make changes as necessary. My hope is that you learn to feel confident, empowered, equipped, and successful in the midst of any challenge.
With teens and children, my main focus is promoting a healthy sense of self, building confidence, and learning how to manage big emotions or challenges that come with neurodivergence. I will address any fears or negative thinking in order to move forward in a healthier way.
I also love working with families to support them in understanding how to best support their children.
